My Family

Before there was me, there was mummy & daddy....

My mum: Gayathri
My dad: Deepak

They got married on 3rd November 2003....

Guess how much they love me! And how much I love them both!

Mom and Dad confirm my arrival!

Mum and Dad first found out they were expecting me in the month of September 2005! See the photo of the first confirmation of me having arrived :)
At that time, my dear Achcha and Ammamma were also in Singapore and they gave me all their love and best wishes!

The name of Mum's doctor was Dr Urmila Babu.

Both Mom and Dad had no preferences as to whether I should be a boy or a girl! But surely they were overjoyed when they found out I was a girl :) (Girls surely are cute aren't they?!)

My First Scan!

This is the first scan that was taken of me!!
Dad and mom used to go for regular check ups to Dr Urmila Babu and dad would capture all the scans on his video! Awesome isn't it! When I grow up I can see all this....!!

Trip to Mexico

In November 2005, Dad and Mom went to Mexico with their music group for an international music festival! And guess what! I joined them too :) Though I was only in my mummy's tummy, I had a great time going to 6 different cities in Mexico! Mummy says I din't trouble her much throughout the trip!

Trip to India!

After returning from Mexico, Appa and Amma took me to India where I celebrated Diwali with Thatha Pati at Bangalore. Then we also went to Chennai to meet everyone there....Guess what! At Chennai I met my great great grandmother! (Yeah! My Grandmother's Grandmother!)....I am so lucky to have 4 generations above me to share their love and bless me!

Seemantham

On Feb 3rd 2006, the Seemantham function was held in Singapore. The function was attended by Seenu Thatha, Usha Pati, Ammamma and Jayashree Pati in addition to all friends of Appa and Amma. My parents prayed for my safe delivery.

Here's a picture of Amma carrying me in her tummy!

While in Amma's tummy, I got to taste amazing food prepared by Usha Pati! Especially the Banana shake, Pomegranate Juice and Dates Cake! Seenu Thatha would also get fresh coconut juice for mummy! They all took such good care of me - especially Amma in spite of her busy work schedule...Thank you all!

Getting Ready to Enter the World!

On May 13th Appa and Amma went for their regular checkup to Dr Babu's clinic. The doctor after checkup felt that I was already ready to join the world though it was 2 weeks away from my due date. So she asked Mom to get admitted on 14th.

On May 14th, after going to the Perumal temple, Mom got admitted to Mount Alvernia Hospital. Dad and mom then eagerly awaited my arrival!

I am born!

May 15th - 4.25 pm!

Yes! That's the special day when I joined this world!
I weighed 2.83Kgs and was 48cms tall!

This is the first photo that was taken of me! Dad says he cried out of joy when he saw me! He was the first person to carry me followed by Jayashree Pati! When Amma came out of the operatoin theatre, I was taken to Amma and had my first meal in this world :)

Coming Home!

After spending 5 days at the hospital, Daddy and Mommy brought me home on Friday May 19th, 2006. We drove home in Daddy's first car - A Toyota Wish. Jayashree Pati took aarti and I entered home with Mommy. She then put me to sleep in my lovely new cot!
